Best practice: supervise each session and replace the stick if it splinters or becomes small enough to swallow.

When will my order arrive?

Every order includes tracking at no extra cost. We usually dispatch within 1–2 business days, and US delivery generally takes another 8–12 days. Any applicable duties and taxes are already covered.

How does the 60-day guarantee work?

Your pack comes with a 60-day trial period. If your cat shows no interest, contact us within 60 days for a refund of the pack price. Opened sticks do not need to be mailed back.

What arrives in my order?

Select 5, 10 or 20 natural Silvervine sticks. The 10-stick pack also includes natural catnip spray; the 20-stick option includes the spray plus a surprise cat toy.

Which pack size fits my home?

Usage varies by cat, but one or two sticks per month is a useful guide. Ten suits most single-cat homes for several months; twenty is the practical choice for homes with multiple cats.

A Fresh Option for Everyday Cat Enrichment

Designed for supervised sniffing, rubbing, batting and chewing — including for cats that show little interest in catnip.

A Better Chew Target

A Better Chew Target

Place a stick near the household item your cat usually mouths, then redirect them during supervised play.

Sniff, Rub and Roll

Sniff, Rub and Roll

Some cats investigate with their face and body before they begin batting or chewing.

Easy to Rotate

Easy to Rotate

Offer one stick at a time, store the rest dry and replace worn pieces as needed.

For Catnip Non-Responders

For Catnip Non-Responders

Silvervine contains a different blend of aromatic compounds, so it may interest cats that ignore catnip.

Natural Variation

Natural Variation

Every branch has its own colour, curve and thickness; no two pieces will look exactly alike.

Supervised Enrichment

Supervised Enrichment

Use it as a play and chew toy, not as food, and remove it if fibres or larger pieces come loose.

GIVE CHEWING A BETTER DESTINATION

Chewing is normal feline behaviour. Put a Silvervine stick within reach to draw attention away from cables, leaves and furniture towards an item intended for supervised gnawing.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF PLAY TRIGGER

Silvervine contains aromatic compounds that can interest some cats, including those that ignore catnip. Responses vary and may include sniffing, rubbing, rolling or kicking before they wind down.

A NATURALLY TEXTURED CHEW

The fibrous bark gives cats a satisfying surface to bite and scrape. It can complement an oral-care routine, but it does not replace veterinary dental checks or treatment.

SIMPLE, PLANT-BASED ENRICHMENT

Each piece comes from a dried Silvervine branch, so colour, thickness and shape naturally vary. Use it during supervised play and discard it if it splinters or becomes small enough to swallow.

Four Reasons Cats Reach for Silvervine

SATISFYING BARK TEXTURE

Each gnaw creates gentle mechanical friction while giving your cat something purposeful to chew.

AN ALTERNATIVE TO HOUSEHOLD TARGETS

A dedicated chew stick may redirect attention from cords, plant leaves and furniture edges.

BUILT-IN ENRICHMENT

Sniffing, rubbing, batting and chewing turn one simple branch into several kinds of play.

PLAY, THEN PAUSE

Many cats enjoy a short burst of activity before relaxing again, making Silvervine easy to add to a routine.

Questions About Silvervine

Will every cat respond to Silvervine?

No plant attracts every cat. Research suggests many respond to Silvervine, including some that ignore catnip. If yours shows no interest, the 60-day guarantee covers the pack.

What if my cat bites pieces off?

Silvervine sticks are chew toys, not food. Supervise each session and discard the stick if it splinters, sheds large pieces or becomes small enough to swallow. Contact your vet if your cat eats a concerning amount or seems unwell.

Can my cat use one every day?

Short, supervised sessions are the best approach. Inspect the stick before every use and rotate it out as soon as it becomes worn or damaged.

Why do some sticks look different?

These pieces come from real branches rather than a mould, so each has its own shade, curve and thickness. Natural variation is expected.

How does Silvervine compare with catnip?

They are different plants with different aromatic compounds. Silvervine may interest some cats that do not respond to catnip, but neither plant works for every cat.

Does chewing support dental care?

The fibrous surface creates light mechanical friction as your cat chews. Treat the stick as enrichment, not as a replacement for veterinary dental care.

When can kittens try Silvervine?

Very young kittens often show little response to plant attractants. Wait until around six months, supervise closely and ask your vet if your kitten has health or chewing concerns.

When should I replace a stick?

Replace it whenever it becomes splintered, heavily frayed or small enough to swallow. If the scent fades while the stick remains sound, lightly scrape the outer surface before the next supervised session.

Using Your Silvervine Sticks

Four simple steps for a safer, longer-lasting play routine.

1
Offer one stick

Let your cat sniff and investigate at their own pace. A response may start with rubbing or rolling rather than chewing.

2
Stay nearby

Supervise the whole session, particularly with enthusiastic chewers and kittens.

3
Inspect after play

Remove the stick if it splinters, sheds a large piece or becomes small enough to swallow.

4
Store the rest

Keep unused sticks sealed and dry. Offer a fresh one when the current piece becomes worn.

Why ChewVine

ChewVine focuses on simple, plant-based enrichment for cats that need another option beyond catnip. Our Matatabi chew toys use naturally varied Silvervine branches and are intended for supervised play.
